Welcome to Tradu-Line! We provide translation and proofreading services to both private and corporate customers. We translate and proofread your business and personal documents such as letters, websites, brochures, manuals, blog posts, fictional narratives, subtitles, worksheets and the like.

What language services do we offer?

Our range of services includes translation from French, English, German and Luxembourgish to the target languages German and Luxembourgish. We also provide translations into English and French, except for technical, juridical and medical content. Please also note that we do not deliver certified translations.

Each translation from the source to the target text is carried out with due regard to the content, structure and style as well as the text statement. Our emphasis on quality is reflected in the accuracy and stylistic sensitivity noticeable in every individual job.

Proofreading covers German and Luxembourgish documents in particular. This service involves the revision of the source text regarding linguistics and style, such as spelling, grammar, punctuation, typography, syntax and vocabulary. The review of your documents by a qualified native speaker guarantees the high quality of every edited text.

How to submit a document?

Every document can be submitted via email in the .doc or .pages format.

For each order please provide the following information:

• number of words of the source text,
• text type (f. ex. letter, brochure, resume, article…),
• terminology or domain (f. ex. administration, IT, tourism, health…),
• desired delivery date.

Please feel free to join any additional explanations to assist us in revising your document.

What are the deadlines?

We will process every order once we have accepted it. However, you should calculate at least 24 hours for proofreading and 48 hours to receive a completed translation. The deadline depends on our respective workloads and, very obviously, on the text length.

Obligations and commitments

Our translators

• commit themselves to meet supply deadlines.
• commit themselves to treat any contents confidentially.
• do not have the right to use the contents for their own purposes.

About me

As a native of Luxembourg, I grew up speaking Luxembourgish as a mother tongue with German and French as second and third languages. I’ve also been keenly interested in the English language from my early youth. Following this curiosity in languages, I later took up studies in Germany (Trier) and England (Liverpool) which led to my degree in German and English language and literature.

Having taught German and Luxembourgish at a secondary-school in Luxembourg for twelve years I have recently relocated to France to work as a translator.

My latest projects include orders in the fields of administration, tourism, trading, and advertisement. Apart from that, I’m familiar with all kinds of correction- and translation-related tasks and assignments required at school.

While translating, the most important aspects for me are accuracy, reliability and discretion.
